I know nothing about this good looking little pug other than what can be seen in the pictures. Photo 2 & 3 was taken at the Club Peugeot UK National Rally, Northants 2015.

This gold 304 was listed for auction in Oct 2016 with Richard Edmunds. Described as good overall condition, 3 owners since new, and documented 28k miles. Winning bid £3000.

11/07/1979 On the Road

First registered July 1979, but made in 1974, this 304 sold via C&C for just £750 (inc hard top!) in April 2016 after 9 years ownership. Although the engine was said to be sound, body to sub frame failure and general decay explains the low price.

Advertised for a lowly £750 ono in April 2016.

Said to have a reasonable condition soft top and hard top

Engine was said to be 'perky', and the car passed a 2014 MOT

Body work tired, and sub frame issues forced the 2016 sale

Approaching it's 30th year with the same owner

This 304's claim to fame is that it is on the wickepedia cc image database (Robbie1961). Picture taken during the owner's holiday in 1997, Loch Ness Scotland. Still with the same owner, and returned to the road with new MOT in 2019!

YNN 925M is with only it's second owner since new. With just 32,000 miles on the clock, it is known to have passed an MOT in 2018 after a few years off road. Here it is pictured back in 2007 looking rather splendid.

Modern or classic registration plates - a matter of preference

Black hard top fitted - hard tops are still available if you search hard enough.

01/07/1971 On the Road (assumed 2020)

Auctioned in Jan 2016 for £5100, this 1971 304 was described as well cared for having only 2 owners since new. Sold again at Mathewsons aution after detailed resoration for only £5000 in Dec 2020.

The original speedo; the dash was redesigned for the S versions.

Nov 2017 - undergoing respray and thorough restoration

01/08/1975 Off Road MOT expired 2002

Auctioned in April 2016 with a final sale price of £2400, described as partially restored and ready to finish off. The seller acquired the car in 2002, and the new owner plans to finish the restoration.

Not much known about this 304 other than what you see in the pic (thanks to Smithy B for sending it in), and the fact that it is a rare Pre S version - one of only about a dozen that I know of.

01/01/1974 Off Road

Off road for many years (at least 10), this little cab might just have a future. It changed owners in March 2016, and is being assessed with a view to restoration - if possible.

Off road for at least 10 years, can this 304S cab be saved?

The new owner will need a grille. Do you have one for sale?

Body work needs help, but lots of original parts are in situ.

NOTE RE 'ON THE ROAD' STATUS

In 2018 older cars - including the 304s - were made exempt from MOT tests. It is therefore not possible to accurately state the current on the road status via DVLA records. Where 'on the road' is shown, the car had passed an MOT test at least once between Jan 2015 and April 2018. So this is a mothballed snap shot of each car's status in 2018/2019 - it may well be different by the time you read this.

To the best of my knowledge there are 130 - 150 RHD Peugeot 304 Cabriolets left in the UK. If you own one and would like your car listed on these pages, please get in touch. If your car is pictured on this site and you don't want it to be, let me know and I'll remove it.
