24/04/1975 Off Road Tax expired Jan 2007

Another pug on the endangered list. Sold for £1150 through H&H Motor Auctions in 2013 it had been off road for several years, and still is. Significant work needed, including a new sub frame. Sold on for £700 via ebay in Nov 2015.

01/08/1975 Off Road MOT expired May 2014

JKU 867P has been spotted regularly in the Derby area, but this is the only pic I've been sent of it (thanks to Mitch G). Here it is on the road in 2013, shortly before it's MOT expired.

11/03/1975 Off Road MOT expired Oct 2007

This is a good looking 1975 azure blue 304 which has been off road since 2007. Is it tucked away somewhere being restored I wonder? With thanks to Janette Beech for images 1 and 2, taken in Congleton several years ago.

05/04/1974 Off Road SORN

Although listed here as off road, this Gold 304 has an MOT until Sept 2015. It is shown as SORN on DVLA search, but as it is tax exempt it may in fact be on the road.

01/08/1995 On the Road

DVLA suggests a first registered date of 1995 for this white 304, which was made in 1974. It was advertised for £8995 on Classic Chrome in 2012, but the actual sale price is not known.

01/05/1972 On the Road

A rare pre-S 304, it's current owner acquired the car in July 2014. He has put back the bumpers that an earlier owner removed, and retained previously fitted Fiat Barchetta seats. With thanks to Jim for the 2016 images.

11/07/1972 On the road

Another rare pre-S 304, it fetched £2950 on ebay in November 2015 after being off road for 20 years during its lifetime. Only 3 owners from new. It was re-sold after remedial work with a full MOT for £3200 on ebay in Dec 2015.

Note the slighlty different styling of pre-S wheels.

Some attention to the body work desirable.

Unusual colour soft top suits the car well.

01/02/1974 On the Road

This 1974 304s has a few features from the earlier non-S version - the grille and the wheels. Parts are scarce, so it is not unusual to see borrowed parts in situ. Spotted in Leicester, September 2015. Thanks to John for images.

Earlier style grille, but with the S style badge.

New soft tops can be ordered, but they're not cheap.

02/02/1973 On the Road

A carefully restored 304S resprayed in cream with some pre-S features. Advertised Sept 2015 as being 'in the same family since new, with a good history and only 3 owners, it sold for £6700.

Oval door mirrors; unusual, and suit the car well.

Pre-S wheels (identified by the wide spaced rectangular holes)

The seller described a full 2pk respray in cream.

05/04/1972 Off Road MOT expired Sept 2013

A rare pre-S 304 now back on the road after a short time off road, thanks to floor and sill repair. Advertised for sale June 2018 at around £8k after the owner completed a 1,000 mile trip in it to France.

NOTE RE 'ON THE ROAD' STATUS

In 2018 older cars - including the 304s - were made exempt from MOT tests. It is therefore not possible to accurately state the current on the road status via DVLA records. Where 'on the road' is shown, the car had passed an MOT test at least once between Jan 2015 and April 2018. So this is a mothballed snap shot of each car's status in 2018/2019 - it may well be different by the time you read this.
