Welcome to a simple web site about the Peugeot 304 Cabriolet
UK 304s

Sold in Feb 2016, this 304 cab was on the road for many years until front sub frame corrosion took it off the road in July 2013. Despite this, the £400 sale price was a giveaway. It's future - restoration or donor car - is unknown.

Sold for a lowly £765 via H & H in May 2016, then immediately sold on within days via Ebay for £2150. The new owner of this 1975 Cab (NFC 48P) is an ex-peugeot technician and he plans a full restoration.

01/08/1975 Â Off Road since at least 2002
Purchased 15 years ago in Jersey with only one previous owner, the current owner has organised significant restoration work including a replacement engine, new exhaust and respray. Re-registered  to UK plates in 2000.

1973 Â On The Road
Originally a Corn Yellow 304 (registration XTD 324N), this fine cab has undergone thorough restoration and now lives on the Isle of Man where it has been re registered with a Manx number. With thanks to the owner for images.

MAE 765L is a Gold 304 that has been off road for many years, and which is currently sleeping in a London garage. Its owner has been in touch - all we need now is to find a London area 304-savvy mechanic. Any recommendations?

Awaiting images. London area 304 mechanic needed!
This silver example appeared for sale Sept 2016 and again Jan & July 2019. Clearly there are some rust issues, but if the important structural areas are OK it could be brought back to former glory. Reserve not met July 2019.

Remarkably, this gold 304 has been with the same owner for over 30 years. After a lengthy gap of 15 years off road the underside, brakes and engine were sorted and 2020 sees this loved 304 back on the roads of Norfolk.
21/08/1975 Â On the road in 2020
Here's yet another cab that's been hiding away for a few years! Advertised for sale Sept 2016 and again Nov 2020 on ebay, where it sold for a shade over £1k. Said to be complete but in need of siginificant restoration.

This is a Peugeot 304S Cabriolet finished in metallic beige (gold). I know nothing about it other than it was spotted in Cornwall in 2016 - a nice home for any classic! With thanks to Vojo for the images.

A mystery this one. Sub frame corrosion appears to have been fixed to get it though a second MOT in 2010, but it has been off road since then. With thanks to Vojo for this picture of it, taken in Cambridge, 2016.

NOTE RE 'ON THE ROAD' STATUS
In 2018 older cars - including the 304s - were made exempt from MOT tests. It is therefore not possible to accurately state the current on the road status via DVLA records. Where 'on the road' is shown, the car had passed an MOT test at least once between Jan 2015 and April 2018. So this is a mothballed snap shot of each car's status in 2018/2019 - it may well be different by the time you read this.
To the best of my knowledge there are 130 - 150 RHD Peugeot 304 Cabriolets left in the UK. If you own one and would like your car listed on these pages, please get in touch. If your car is pictured on this site and you don't want it to be, let me know and I'll remove it.
