PEUGEOT 304 CABRIOLETS : A

AEV 518L

1973

CORN YELLOW

S VERSION

MOT : 2017 PASS

TAX : 2022

A stunning 304 that looks well loved and in very good order, judging by these images taken in 2010 and 2016. This lovely example has an enviable record of passing every recorded MOT test from 2006. Everything looks right on AEV. Beautifully polished and presented in the ever distinctive Corn Yellow.

AFH 178M

1974

BLUE OR RED

S VERSION

MOT : NO RECORDS

TAX : NO RECORDS

Discovered in a field in 2019 (one of four), AFH was purchased by a 304 owner for spares value. Despite being described as 'stripped at the front and in a hedge for a while', it had a hard top and a boot full of useful parts. No chance of restoration.

ANA 133M

1974

CORN YELLOW

S VERSION

MOT : 2015 PASS

TAX : 2022

This nice corn yellow 304 came to my attention in 2020, when the new owner got in touch. He described ANA as in good order and was aiming to get it back on the road as soon as possible. The previous owner had the car for 24 years, much of which was off road storage.

ANW 431M

1974

ALASKAN WHITE

S VERSION

MOT : 2015 PASS

TAX : 2022 SORN

DVLA records suggest a first registered date of 1995 for this alaskan white 304, which was made in 1974. It was advertised for £8995 on Classic Chrome in 2012, but the actual sale price is not known and no further information is available. SORN tax status suggests it might be asleep in a garage somewhere.

AYA 133K

1972

CORN YELLOW

PRE-S VERSION

MOT : NO RECORDS

TAX : 2022

Sleeping away in a Surrey barn is AYA 133K, a corn yellow original pre-S version 304 cabriolet dating from 1972. The owner tells me that the body work is pretty sound, but a replacement engine may be needed if it is ever to be restored.
